History
After 8 years in the commercial electrical industry in San Diego, Tim Bosworth saw a way to help the environment and make the future better for his kids. In 2003, Tim combined his efforts with Kirk Mulligan, who designed the largest solar system, at the time, in Virginia as part of his thesis for James Madison University.

Through hard work and a common belief of 100% customer satisfaction Clean Power Systems has grown to one of the largest solar companies in the US.

Vision
Clean Power Systems (CPS) was founded on the belief in setting the industry standard for high quality products, services and 100% customer satisfaction, by treating each project as if it was our own. CPS is a growing company in a growing industry that will stay committed to its mission as it increases in size and geographical territory.

It will not lose focus on bringing professionalism to the residential, commercial, new construction and other emerging markets. CPS will continue to strive to set the standard as one of the largest and most respected solar energy companies. As new energy technologies emerge CPS will evolve from a solar company to a fully diversified renewable energy corporation.

In addition to our experience, all of our designers & lead installers are either SunPower Certified, NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) certified or both.

SunPower panels come with a 10 year workmanship warranty; SunTech panels come with a 5 year workmanship warranty. Both panels come with a 25 year production warranty.

A 5 year performance guarantee comes standard with your solar system because we've taken the time to precisely calculate your systems performance. With this guarantee you know that if your system doesn't produce what we've expected, we will pay you the difference, that is security other companies can not match.

In addition to a 5 year performance warranty, Clean Power Systems includes a 10 year workmanship & labor warranty. If you have any trouble with your system you only need to make one phone call to Clean Power Systems. Our service technicians can generally do same day troubleshooting.
